Hello Croc Families!
It is time for our 9th Annual Operation Breakthrough Fundraiser! For those of you who are not familiar, Operation Breakthrough is a daycare, preschool and afterschool care organization for over 700 children, located in Kansas City off Troost. More than 70% of enrolled families live below the federal poverty guidelines and 1 out of 5 children they serve are homeless. Operation Breakthrough provides several other services which include a food pantry, clothing pantry, medical services, dental services, services to help parents find employment or finish their degrees, etc.
To help this amazing organization, we will be collecting monetary donations starting today through Thursday, June 22nd. To keep it simple, please Venmo @Operation-Breakthrough with your donation and put in the comments “CCL Donation.” Our goal is to collect $5,000, which will tie last years collection. A Goal meter will be hung up on the pool deck so your swimmers and divers can see the goal progress, and hopefully cheer you on to donate more!
On Friday, June 22nd, we will have a fundraising celebration during your child’s regular practice time. A representative from Operation Breakthrough will arrive at 11am to thank our swimmers and divers and there will be candy and games to celebrate the amount raised!
