Hello CCL Members!

The 2023 Swim and Dive Season is right around the corner and Registration for CCL Summer Swim and Dive will open this Wednesday, March 1 at ccl.swimtopia.com. Just click on the “Registration” tab on the Home page to get started.

Points to note:

• You might notice registration fees have gone up $20 from last year. This is due to a new CCSAKC league, per swimmer/diver charge initiated because of rising costs. This additional fee charged by the league goes toward meet referees for regular season meets, ribbons for all meets, Champs costs, Champs hosting fund for host clubs, etc. No-meet athletes will not be charged the additional $20

2023 Swim and Dive Rates are as follows:

• $295- Swim
• $295- Dive
• $320- both Swim and Dive
• $215- Pre-compet
• $100 per family fee- same as before and goes toward DJ Dinner Dance, swimmer incentives from coaches, Coach meet expenses such as costumes, Kona Ice, etc.
• Registration will close Friday, March, 31, 2023. All late registrations will be charged a $100 late fee per participant.

• Returning families and swimmers, please LOGIN to your EXISTING ACCOUNT instead of creating a new profile each season

Unsure about Precompet/8U Placement?

• All pre-compet swimmers should be able to swim the length of the pool unaided
• Pre-compet swimmers should be 6 years old. Age 5 will be considered based on ability
• Please note that pre-compete is not intended to be a beginner’s swim lesson. It is highly recommended that your child is used to the water and has some previous experience in basic swim lessons. Focus will be on early learning of swim strokes and proper, beginning swim techniques
• 8U Swimmers should be able to swim the length of the pool unaided in both freestyle and backstroke.

Additional Points of Interest:

• Join us April 2, from 1:00 to 3:00, in the Fireside Room for Swimsuit fittings and to reconnect with some of our coaches!
• We WILL be using the same suits as last year. (Athletes, including pre-compete, are expected to wear a team suit to participate in meets and be in the team picture)
• Practice dates and times can all be found on our ccl.swimtopia.com website and will remain the same as last year.
• Afternoon practices will begin the week of May 22. Further details to follow
• There will be a mandatory parent meeting to brief everyone on the season. Date coming soon!
• Mark your calendars! Time Trials will be the morning of June 3!
