Hello Croc Families! We hope everyone had a good holiday season and a good start to the second semester of the school year. Just a couple updates as we get closer and closer to summer:

1) First and definitely most exciting- WE HAVE A NEW COACH!! After Christmas, the chairs gathered with the coaches and held interviews for our open coaching position. We are thrilled to announce that we hired Max Patterson! Max is going to make a fantastic addition to our coaching team! He comes to us from Kansas City Country Club where he swam for 13 years. Max is a very accomplished swimmer, having swam in high school for the Shawnee Mission East Varsity team all 4 years. He was a KSHSAA state swimmer in 10th, 11th, and 12th grade and a KSHSAA 6A State Champion and a part of the All-Sunflower League Team his senior year. Max not only excelled in the pool but was also a recipient of the KCCC Doug Earnheart Award for leadership, sportsmanship, and drive and the KCCC Sportsmanship Award. We think Max is going to be a great addition to our team and are excited for him to join our Croc Family!

2) Registration will open March 1, as in year's past, and will run the entire month of March. Look for a specific registration email with more details coming soon! All practice times will stay the same. Right now we are looking for practices to start the week of May 22nd. Look to our website for age group practice times. 

3) Meet Schedule- dates are subject to change but we wanted to give you an idea of what is on the calendar for now.

April 2- swimsuit fittings at CCL. We will be keeping the same suit as last year. 

Begin practice the week of May 22. More specific details to come.

6/3- Time Trials- while these times don't count for Champs, they are VERY helpful for coaches for placing swimmers in events. Especially if your child is in a larger age group, try your best to get them to time trials so they can get times on all strokes!
