Hello Croc Family!

 Can you believe we are here already?  Just TWO weeks left of the season! We hope you all had a lovely 4th of July weekend and are rested and ready to get back to the pool and work hard these next two weeks!  We have our last regular season meet this Wednesday at KCCC and then CHAMPS next week!  Here's what you need to know:

• DECLARE YOUR SWIMMER FOR CHAMPS NOW: It's time to declare for Bud Merritt Champs.  This is Wednesday July 14th, all day. If your child will not be swimming in "A" champs or only has 1 event at "A" and they would like to swim in the Bud Merritt champs we need you to declare NOW.  Coaches are doing entries Wednesday night so please go on Swimtopia and declare ASAP!  Enter in the notes which events your swimmer wants to swim.  Swimmers can compete in up to 5 events, dive counts as 1 event. If you have a question about which meet your child should swim in please ask a coach.  You can email coach Clara at [email protected].  If your swimmer is NOT declared, coaches will NOT put them in the meet.  Please declare by 5PM TOMORROW!   
• SWiM MEET VS KCCC: This Wednesday.  Warm-ups are at 3:30, we suggest getting there by 3:15.  If you would like to caravan from CCL to KCCC we will meet at 2pm and plan to leave around 2:15.  
•  PRE-COMPETE: We will have a meet for our youngest swimmers on Sunday, July 11th at 5:30pm, right before our Champs Pep Rally! Pre-compete families, please go on and declare your swimmer for this event so coaches can create entries. 
• SWIM & DIVE BANQUET: Saturday July 17th at 5:30pm.  Please RSVP through this link. https://m.signupgenius.com/#!/showRSVPSignUp/20f0c...
  • Cost is $25 per person, charged to your club account.  Your swim/dive dues pay a portion of the banquet but not all is covered. Please include your club # in your RSVP.  
  • Please reply with number of kids and adults.  We will be checking families in at the door, we will only have enough meals and seats for those who have RSVP'd.   
• GOLF TOURNAMENT: This Saturday at 4:30 is the 9-hole scramble golf tournament for swim and dive team parents.  Cost is $30/person.  Please call the Pro Shop to register. 
• PEP RALLY: This Sunday, July 11th, immediately following the pre-compete meet, estimated start time is 6:30.  We will do cheers, have some fun games and treats, pass out Champs t-shirts as well as announce the Champs theme for our club.  All are invited to watch the movie "Rocky" after the pep rally at the Slaymaker's home.  More details to come.
