Hello Swim & Dive Families!

Grocery bags with donation envelopes were given out last week at practice, but if you didn't get yours, please check the white bin in the lifeguard station.  We have one waiting just for you!  Or - use your own bag - we will take groceries in any bag! =)

Thank you to all who have dropped off their grocery bags and given monetary donations already - we are off to a good start!  

We have some VERY exciting news to share - we have an anonymous donor who has agreed to match up to $1,000 of our monetary donations!!  We don't know who this donor is, but we are exceedingly grateful!  What an amazing gift!!  Please continue to send in your donations - they mean even more now!

How to donate:

1.  Place cash or a check made out to Operation Breakthrough in the envelope attached to your grocery bag.  Return in the grocery bag or you can place the envelope in the Blackford family swim file.

2.  Write your name, member number and amount you wish to donate on the envelope.  Return in the grocery bag or you can place the envelope in the Blackford family swim file.  Or - you can email Carrie Blackford at [email protected] with your name, member number and amount you wish to donate.

3.  Operation Breakthrough now has Venmo!  Their account is @Operation-Breakthrough.  What a quick & easy way to donate!

Other notes for Thursday's event:

*Foo's Fabulous Custard is donating custard for 150 swimmers and divers! Yum!!

*There will be a full bar and the cabana will be open to order food/snacks.

*Be sure to sign up or have your child sign up for the pie eating contest!  This is sure to be hilarious for participants and observers!  We are asking for a $5 donation per participant to cover the cost of the pies.  The sign up sheet is on the white board by the ice machine.

We are so thankful for our CCL Swim & Dive Families!  Thank you for your help in making this fundraiser a HUGE success!!
