Happy Champs Week, Crocs!

Following is some important information that we thought would be helpful for you to have this week.  All of this info and more can be found on the Country Club Swim Assoc KC website.  Here is the link https://ccsakc.swimtopia.com/swim-champs.

• Parking (applies to all three days) - there will be a swimmer drop off in the circle drive at Hallbrook through the main entrance. There is a satellite parking area at the First Church of the Nazarene on the NE corner of 119th & State Line. This is where you will need to park. There will be shuttles running back and forth all day.  Please plan for this when deciding what time to get to Hallbrook.
• Textcaster - please go to the CCSAKC website and click on Champs Info and then click on Textcaster to find the link to sign up to receive text updates.  This is really helpful because it lets you know if there are any delays or any other important info you need to know.
• Volunteer Check-In is located in the Hospitality Room in the Main Clubhouse.  Please be there 15 minutes prior to your shift.  There will be snacks & drinks available in the Hospitality Room for all volunteers.  Thank you for serving!!
• Food - There will be food from Hallbrook, Chik Fil A and Sheridan's available in Tent City.  There will also be a limited menu available in the clubhouse (proper dress required - no swimsuits).

Bud Merritt - Wednesday, July 11th

• Gates open at 6:45am for you to drop off.
• Opening Ceremonies begin at 7:30am - please make sure you arrive in time for your swimmer to find a spot, get settled and line up for the ceremonies by 7:10-7:15am.  Please be sure to wear your Champs tshirt. It is probably a good idea to put your name in it.
• The morning session is for 10U & 8U swimmers only.  The actual meet begins at 8:00am.  There is not a warm up for this session.
• The afternoon session is for 12U, 14U, 16U & Senior swimmers.  The first warm up is at 1:00pm which is the one we are scheduled for - Lane 1.

Prelims - Thursday, July 12th

• This is for "A" Swimmers Only.
• Gates open at 7:00am.  Our warm up is scheduled at 8:00am - Lanes 4,5 & 6.
• Meet begins at 9:30am.
• This meet does not have any relays.

Finals/Champs - Friday, July 13th

• All are welcome & encouraged to attend - only A swimmers will be competing
• Gates open at 7:00am and we are scheduled for the first warm up at 7:30am - Lanes 1,2 & 3.
• Opening Ceremonies begin at 9:30am - Please come cheer on our club and wear your CCL Champs shirt! 
• Seniors will be announced during the open ceremonies.  If you can't be there, either Tanya or I will get your certificate.

After Champs Party - Friday, July 13th around 5:00pm

• Everyone is welcome to join us back at our club for an After Champs Party to hopefully celebrate our victory!  Pizza will be provided and there will be a member charge bar available.
• Come dressed to get wet!  Pretty much everyone who attends ends up in the pool at some point.  Make sure you keep this in mind with regard to your phones and your shoes (also - white shirts for women - not a great idea - haha)!
