Hello Croc Families!

Thank you for all who came to our DJ Dinner Dance on Friday night!  We hope you had as much fun as we did!  We have a lot of info for this week so please read through to the end:

Our meet this week:

• We have a tri-meet this week with Milburn and Hallbrook.  Hallbrook is hosting the meet.  Warm ups begin at 3pm and the meet starts at 4pm.
• Our theme is "Get Your Groove On"/Hippie
• Please be aware that we have fewer entries in this meet because it is against 2 other clubs.  This means that your swimmer may not get to swim in as many events as they have in previous meets.  Thank you for your understanding.

Things you can do to help us make the meets go smoother:

• Parents and/or siblings -please do not stand behind the blocks during the meets.  Timers & Coaches have been having a difficult time doing their job because of parents being behind the blocks.  This week will be our 3rd meet of the season so the kiddos are just fine & your view will be better from the sides or the other end of the pool anyway.  
• If your 8U is swimming in the Medley Relay (first event), please have them to the Clerk of the Course by the time the national anthem begins.  This will help us to start the meet right on time.
• Please allow for some flexibility in your volunteer shift times.  We are asking this especially of timers.  Sometimes the meets run slower than expected and that means the shifts run a little longer than the time printed on your name tag.  Thank you for hanging in there with us.

Upcoming Events:

• Our Fundraiser benefiting Operation Breakthrough is this Thursday from 5-7pm. Please fill your bags and write your checks - bring them to practice anytime this week or to the event on Thursday.  
• Our End of the Season Banquet is July 14th from 6-10pm at The Venue in Leawood.  We will be sending out an email to let you know when the sign up is live.
