I want to say thank you to everyone who volunteered for Time Trials this morning! This year is the 60^th anniversary of the CCSAKC League and the only reason it has continued to be the top summer league in the country is because of parent volunteers. It is amazing how much work goes into each swim season and each swim meet, so thank you for making this whole season run smoothly! 

First off, a reminder that the deadline to declare for this week’s swim meet against Brookridge is tonight at 5. Even if you will not be attending the meet, please select “not attending”.

After being left out to the infamous CCSAKC water polo league for the past few years, we have finally convinced Mission Hills to let us in the league. We will play two games against two different clubs on the following Saturday’s: June 9^th, 16^th, and 23^rd. The postseason tournament, which crowns the champion, is the morning of June 30^th at MHCC. All age groups are welcome to play, but I want to warn everyone that these games tend to be fairly aggressive. We understand that not everyone will want to play, so we will still have a Saturday morning practice from 9:00-10:00 at the pool for anyone in any age group not wanting to play water polo. Next week we play Hallbrook and Blue Hills at 10:00 with location TBD.

Finally, the club is hosting the first dive meet of the season against Brookridge this Tuesday afternoon starting at 4. The word I’ve been hearing from the whispers around the league is that we have a good chance to win Dive Champs this year. I know the divers and dive coaches would love to have a lot of support on Tuesday since this is our only home dive meet of the year.
